This Privacy Policy explains how Tibwera, powered by Effecore Systems ("Tibwera", "we", "us" or "our"), handles information when you visit tibwera.com or use Tibwera services.

Tibwera helps people discover destinations, events, clubs, activities, accommodation, transport, food and other experiences, and connect with the organizations that provide them. This policy applies to visitors, account holders, organizers and service providers using the platform.

Information you give us. This may include your name, email address, phone number, profile details, organization details and information you submit when you make a booking, register for an event or competition, contact an organizer, use chat, or ask us for support.

Content you share. If you post a profile photo, listing, image, review, message or other content, we process that content and related details such as its location or the time it was submitted. Information you choose to make public may be visible to other people using the platform.

Booking and payment information. We process booking, registration and transaction records needed to provide the service, such as what was booked, payment status and transaction references. Payment details may be handled by the payment provider shown during checkout, under that provider's own privacy terms.

Sign-in information. If you choose Google sign-in, Google provides identity information needed to authenticate your account. Google's own privacy policy also applies to its services.

Device and usage information. When you use the website, we may receive technical and activity information such as browser and device details, pages or features used, and diagnostic or performance data.

We use information to create and manage accounts; show listings and profiles; help users communicate; manage bookings, registrations and payments; provide support; maintain platform safety and prevent misuse; troubleshoot and improve Tibwera; and meet legal obligations or resolve disputes.

We may also send messages about your account, bookings, payments, security or changes to the service. We will use your information for other purposes where we explain the purpose and have a lawful basis to do so.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process personal information when it is needed to provide a service you request, to meet a legal obligation, for our legitimate interests in operating and protecting Tibwera (where those interests do not override your rights), or with your consent. You can withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

We share information as needed to operate the platform. For example, an event organizer or service provider may receive the details needed to respond to an inquiry, manage a booking or registration, or provide the service you requested. Information on public profiles, listings and posts can be seen by other users according to the features you use and your settings.

We may use service providers for website hosting, storage, analytics, identity verification, communications and payment processing. They receive information needed to perform their services for us and are expected to protect it. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or Tibwera, or as part of a business transfer.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for another party's independent marketing without your permission.

Tibwera uses browser storage needed for functions such as keeping you signed in, switching between accounts and preserving an in-progress session. You can clear this storage in your browser, though some features may then stop working until you sign in again.

The website includes Vercel Analytics to help us understand website usage and performance. Your browser also creates standard technical logs when it requests pages from a website.

We keep information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the platform, maintain business and transaction records, resolve disputes, enforce our terms, and meet legal obligations. Retention periods depend on the type of information and why it was collected. We may keep limited records after an account is closed where required for these purposes.

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No online service or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, so please keep your sign-in details private and tell us if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

Tibwera and its service providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Where required, we take steps intended to protect information when it is transferred.

You can review and update some account information through your profile. Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may also be able to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal information, or object to or ask us to restrict certain processing.

To make a privacy request, email admin@effecoresystems.com from the address associated with your account and describe your request. We may need to verify your identity before acting on it, and some information may need to be retained where the law permits or requires.

Tibwera is not designed for children to create accounts or use independently. A parent, guardian or responsible organization should arrange and supervise any participation by a child where appropriate. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us without appropriate permission, contact us so we can review it.

We may update this policy as Tibwera changes. We will publish the current version on this page and update the date above. If a change materially affects how we use information, we will take steps to provide notice where appropriate.
