Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply when you access tibwera.com or use Tibwera services. Tibwera is powered by Effecore Systems ("Tibwera", "we", "us" or "our"). By using the platform, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Tibwera.

Some events, bookings, or third-party services may have additional conditions. Those conditions will apply to your participation or purchase where they are provided to you.

You must provide accurate information when creating or using an account and keep it reasonably up to date. You are responsible for protecting your sign-in details and for activity carried out through your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has accessed it.

You may use Tibwera only if you can lawfully agree to these Terms. If you are a minor, you may use relevant services only with the involvement and supervision of a parent or guardian, and where the law and the relevant provider allow it. Organizations are responsible for ensuring that the people acting for them are authorized to do so.

Tibwera provides online tools for discovering destinations, events, clubs, activities, accommodation, transport, restaurants and other experiences. It may also support profiles, messaging, bookings, registrations, competitions and related features.

Unless a page clearly says otherwise, the listings and services are provided by independent organizations or providers. Tibwera is a platform that helps users find and interact with those providers. A booking or purchase is between you and the provider, who is responsible for delivering the service, listing accurate details, and providing any required permits, safety measures or insurance.

Review the listing, price, dates, eligibility requirements and provider conditions before confirming a booking or registration. Availability, schedules, descriptions and prices are supplied by providers and may change. If information appears incorrect, contact the provider or Tibwera before proceeding.

Any price, fee, payment method, cancellation condition or refund rule shown during a transaction applies to that transaction. Payments may be handled by a third-party payment provider. The provider's terms and your bank or mobile money provider's terms may also apply. Unless the listing states otherwise or applicable law requires it, cancellation and refund requests should be directed to the provider responsible for the booking.

Tibwera does not guarantee that a provider will accept a request, remain available, or deliver a service as described. We may display payment or booking status based on information received from the relevant provider or processor.

You agree not to misuse Tibwera. This means you must not use it to break the law, deceive or harm others, infringe another person's rights, post materially false or misleading information, harass users, distribute malicious code, interfere with the platform, or attempt to access accounts or systems without permission.

Do not use Tibwera to publish content you do not have the right to share, collect another user's information without a lawful reason, or evade account restrictions. You must follow the rules and safety instructions of event organizers and service providers when using their services.

You keep ownership of content you submit. You give Tibwera a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to host, store, reproduce, display and distribute that content as needed to operate, provide and promote the platform and the features you choose to use. This permission ends when the content is removed from Tibwera, except for copies retained in backups or where retention is required by law.

You are responsible for your content and confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit it. We may remove content or restrict access to it if we reasonably believe it violates these Terms, another person's rights, or the law.

Tibwera and its software, branding, design and materials are protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms allow you to use the platform for its intended purpose; they do not transfer ownership of Tibwera or grant rights beyond that limited use. Do not copy, modify, distribute or commercially exploit Tibwera materials except as allowed by law or with our permission.

You can stop using Tibwera at any time. We may suspend or limit access to an account or feature if we reasonably believe there is a security risk, a breach of these Terms, unlawful activity, or a need to protect users or the platform. Where practical, we will explain the reason and allow you to contact us about it. Closing an account does not cancel obligations or transactions that arose before closure.

We work to keep Tibwera available and useful, but the platform may change, be interrupted, or contain errors. To the extent permitted by law, Tibwera is provided on an "as available" basis. We do not promise that every listing, provider, event, message or feature will be continuously available, error-free, or suitable for your particular needs.

To the extent permitted by law, Tibwera is not responsible for services supplied by independent providers, or for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the platform. Nothing in these Terms limits liability or a consumer right that cannot legally be limited or excluded.

Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use Tibwera.

We may revise these Terms when the platform or applicable requirements change. The latest version will be posted on this page with an updated date. If you continue using Tibwera after revised Terms take effect, that use means you accept the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malawi, subject to any mandatory rights or protections that apply to you. Disputes will be handled by the courts with jurisdiction under applicable law.
